| Chuck Cowdery, one of our contributing bourbon experts, is a freelance writer, researcher, marketing planner, video producer, occasional lawyer, former-disk jockey and frustrated guitar player. He is the writer/director/producer of Made and Bottled in Kentucky, a one-hour documentary about the bourbon industry that features scenes of famous distilleries, both current and silent, and interviews with top bourbon makers. His newsletter for bourbon enthusiasts, The Bourbon Country Reader, is an idiosyncratic and independent compilation of recent news, history and reviews about America's native spirit.
