Yep, thats the question !

If you could get any bottle of whiskey but only one bottle (regardless of price) which one would it be ?

Scenario below:

If you where only aloud to bring one bottle of whiskey (regardless of price)
with you to a dessert island. Also.....you could bring any person you want to share your 2 weeks on the island, from any time period (present or past) for "interesting conversations" only of course!:skep: Whom would you bring with you?

Tricky ? Even i have to give this question some thought.

Well, it would have to be one that went well with dessert.

Or did you mean "desert"?

your 2 weeks on the island

Two weeks?

We just cut our choices down to ones that come in 1.75 liter bottles.

Needs to be high proof too. I'd say a 1.75 liter of Wild Turkey 101.

Wait, I just discovered Weller Antique (107 proof) comes in 1.75 liter bottles. That's what I'd want.

Guys...Foreign Whiskey Forum...pay attention

Yeah, he did spell it "whisky", didn't he?

Damn. Only Scotch in 1.75 liter bottles are cheap blends.

So I guess it'd have to be a'bunadh, taken in small sips.

My choice would be Jameson 4.5 liter bottle and who ever was behind the assassination of JFK OR Pamela Anderson purely because of her big contributions  to charity organizations worldwide ... That would be an interesting 2 weeks..imo.

You could get a 1.75 of Glenfiddich 12 for about 70.00. The only other 1.75 of SMS I have seen is Speyburn and it isn't really that great IMO!

I would take Aberlour A'bundah...and I have some questions for Jesus...other than that I think it might be interesting to spend two weeks with my bottle of Aberlour and myself. Kind of like Cast Away...I might like to try that for a limited time frame.

I think I would have to go with a Glenmorangie 25-year.

They're still my favorite Highland distillery.

As for company? I'd probably have to go with a fair, young lass with sharp wits and a taste for scotch. I need to enjoy such a fine dram with fine company, after all.

Barturtle..and all! :slappin:

Anne Hathaway?.....would you two talk or play tonsil tennis with each other and compare tasting notes of each others saliva.....lmao...

Well i would ofcourse intend to talk to Pamela Anderson, only if she did not try to come between me and my 4.5 L bottle of Jameson. If she did, id send her away on the next first tide going out, on a badly constrcted raft....lol

I opted for quantity rather than quality....but some of you guys have selected really interesting whiskeys and whisky.

Yes, Jesus would be a good choice of company. He might shed some light on the Judas story....many questions...many questions

Way too many scenarios to contemplate here. I'll just go with the mood that I'm in while cranking up the Tool covers on Youtube.

I'd go with The Glenlivet Nadurra and like to have Osama Bin Laden hanging with me. The first chance I got I'd smash that fine whiskey bottle right over the side of his head or die trying.

If I were on a desert island, my 1.75L bottle of Stitzel-Weller Antique 107 would be foreign whiskey (wouldn't it?). And any nice girl that appreciates bourbon would make it that much more special.

I like to have a a bottle of Ardbeg Mhor which is 4.5 liters big! And as for companion, none! I dont want to share it with anybody.

Well, if you take Jesus, all you need is 50ml of Johnny Walker Blue and a few jugs of water. He's got you covered.

Turning water to wine may be okay by J but water to JW Blue? He might be accuse of favoritism!
