Here's a nice article on blended Scotch whisky. I really love Rusty Nail cocktails so I always keep a bottle or 2 of Scotch on hand...since I first read this article at least one of those bottles is Teachers Highland Cream.

My Rusty Nail
1 1/2 oz Scotch
1 oz Drambuie
1 twist of Lemon peel
Texascarls Rusty Nail Mixing instructions:
Pour the Scotch and Drambuie into a cocktail shaker almost filled with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain liquor into a cocktail glass and garnish with the lemon twist.
Now I have to add Drambuie to the "adult beverages" pantry shelves..which are starting to sag a little...will have to reorganize. Thanks for the mix..will give it a try some cold winter evening!
