Jim Beam racing cars will also be back this year for Xmas, they look more like a racing car and less like a station wagon
Also there's a wild turkey 350mL with cards and poker chips.

Absolut Masquerade - a bottle shaped gift tin covered in red sequins. That's after last years popular Absolut disco which was a bottle shaped gift tin that doubled as a mirror ball.
Let's disco!

Today I saw Belvedere vodka/martini glass gift sets. The Amaretto Disarrono had a venetian glass ice bucket. I couldn't think of the exact description in the last post and said it was just glass. Also saw a JD 1.75/stainless flask gift set!

I agree with you there. Most of gift sets like that don't make it to us down here :smiley_acbt:

They are all over KY.
And here is the interesting part, they can be found cheaper than a WTRB off the shelf.
No kiddin',

Hey KY members, help out these people.

JD with glasses.

At Costco they had a fancy box with a bottle of Glen Livet 15 yo, a bottle of Nadurra, and two glencairn style glasses for $90.

Bushmills Black with a pretty nice flask.

Last year, Jimmy Russell (one helluva nice guy) was at the liquor store to talk to and autograph Wild Turkey selections. I was buying Christmas presents, looking at the Turkey selection, and Mr. Russell came up behind me and asked me what I was looking for. After some discussion, he told me the best buy was a gift box of Turkey with glasses which was about $7.00 cheaper than the bottle if bought by itself. He said he didn't know why the gift box was cheaper than the bottle itself, but added you'd be crazy not to buy the gift box. He autographed that gift box as well the the American Spirit I bought, although I got the distinct impression from him that any bourbon aged more than twelve years was overdone. I kept the AS but did give the gift box which was received gladly by the recipient.

All I've seen so far was the EWSB with cigar holder/flask set and the Perrier-Jout vintage gift set I bought last year. I'm really looking forward to the OF:Repeal set if/when it hits stores around here! If it gets here I think this will be the only whiskey gift set I've ever purchased, I'm definitely going to pick one up and then maybe a backup or two if I like it! I hope I don't have to buy this thing online!

It's a medicinal style 375ml bottle of Old Forester with Glencairn style OF glass and a scroll with the text of the 21st amendment on it. There's a pic here (http://www.straightbourbon.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=6786&d=1219627677).

A pint of special make Old Forester. A glencairn glass (etched) and a copy of the repeal amendment. I think that's it.
