Anyone ever just reuse the same glass from the night before?

I've done this several times now and I swear the first pour of the evening seems less alcoholic, vapor wise, than it does out of a clean glass.

Uh, no. I'm rather anal about getting a clean glass. If I'm having multiple pours in an evening, I'll rinse with water but I'll never reuse the next night.

I'm usually pretty anal about such things too. If I have a glass of ice tea and I switch to pop I'll get a clean glass, one that's been run through the dish washer or washed with soap and hot water, not just rinsed out. I drive my wife crazy dirtying so many glasses.

I won't go from scotch to bourbon etc. but what the hey, if it had Bookers in it the night before.....and the glass is still sitting on my end table.... why not pour some Old Weller Antique.... alcohol kills germs.....

You're right...the alcohol will kill off any germs. I guess for me it's the grody factor...seeing the brown spot in the bottom of the glass just isn't appealing. Plus, I don't want bourbon dredge to taint me next pour. Come on Brad....don't be a lazy a$$....get a clean glass. (hey that rhymes).
