My friend Gary Hodder asked me for recommendations of good retailers in Denver. I'd appreciate any suggestions, thanks.

I'm not an expert, but I hit Denver a few times a year on business and have found good stuff at Argonaut Liquors in Cherry Creek and Chambers Liquors in Aurora. (I was at Chambers last month and they still had several 2008 BTAC on the shelf)

Another great store in the Denver area is Applejack Wine & Spirits. Fantastic wines and prices.

If you're up north, I'd suggest DaveCo Liquors or Total Beverage. Down south, either Lukas or Davidsons. Lukas tends to have the cheapest prices I've found, but less selection than some.

Between Denver and Boulder, the other Total Beverage location and Superior Liquor.

In town, I definitely agree with Argonaut and Chambers. Colorado Liquor Mart (on Colorado Blvd) is one of my favorites--they usually hold on to some of the BTAC selections year-round. Keg Liquors down the road from CLM is pretty good, too.
