Hey guys/gals,

another bourbon lover who now lives in southern In. Most of my time revolves around my family, playing sports, exercise, and the few minutes left to enjoy and bourbon and cigar.

Where in southern IN? If you are near E-ville, aka The Firefly Bourbon bar, you are a very lucky man. (half price and heavy pours on thurs. nights)

Welcome, Keng. Good to have you aboard.
I've heard of this Firefly Bourbon bar. Where in Evansville, is it? Anywhere close to Le Merigot Hotel and the Casino?

Half price, yes, heavy pours... no longer.:smiley_acbt: Laura no longer tends bar there any more. A great loss to all Evansville Bourbon drinkers.

Joe, the Firefly is just 8 miles east of the Casino.

Yeah, I was drug across the river; kicking and screaming. :grin: But used to it now!

New Albany. Just a skip and a jump from L'ville.

Really just something I didn't just finish and within the price range of that shopping time. Some times it's VOB 6yr, EC 12yr, and I drank my PVW 12yr just as quickly as the previous two.

I just went out on lunch and grabbed Rittenhouse Rye BIB. I've had the 80 and while it was lighter than what I usually drink I liked it, so can't wait to see how I enjoy this one.

Bourbons I drink more often and really enjoy;

Buffalo Trace
EC 12yr
Wild Turkey

Thanks guys,

Saw you post under distillery trips, and realized I hadn't said hello yet. So, welcome Keng. Hope you like it here at SB. Sounds like you have some good bourbons so far, and living so near Louisville, many more are within easy reach. Oh, to live that close to the bourbon holy land. :bowdown: Hope you enjoy your trip to BT. A report is due upon your return. :grin: Joe
