Bottle with a specific date label

Does anyone know of some bourbons that have a specific bottling date written on the bottle? I think Blanton's does. Although not bourbon, Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey does. Any others?

Reason: I thought it would be cool to find one dated February 16th, 2009 (the date of my son's birth), or even just February 2009, and give it to him when he turns 21. Its a longshot, I know. If anyone happens to have one they would be willing to part with let me know.

Any good 2009 bottle would be a good fallback, but I thought I would give a specific date a try!

(I realize the extremely low odds of someone here having such a specifically dated bottle are compounded by the even more extremely low odds that if someone did, it would not already be empty, or at least open.)

you might try Evan Williams Single Barrel, Wathen's Single Barrel or Elijah Craig 18yr.

I'm in the same boat. I was trying to find one date 5/19/09 when my daughter was born. The closest I found was Kentucky Spirit date 4/17/09. I went with several bottles of the 2009 Birthday Bourbon from Old Forester and a couple of 2009 Ezra Brooks 12 year single barrel. They said 1-09. Good Luck!

That would be cool. I have come close to my kid's birthdates with EWSB and EW18.....not on exact date, but very close. If they do not want it on 21st birthday, I'll pop it open for meself! Back in 2006, I found 3 bottles of a retailer private bottling of Blanton's that was on my own birthday bottled in 2005. I grabbed all of them and it has become a tradition now to sip & share from them every year on the b-day.....lot of fun.....good luck on your search and I will certainly stay on lookout for you for 2/16/09.

The closeness of the day to Christmas (and the fact that it was a Saturday) have me thinking the exact date is pretty much impossible, but hey - stranger things have happened. I sometimes put the wrong date on things, so who's to say a distillery employee hasn't had the same problem? :)

I've jotted down the others mentioned here and will keep them handy in my wallet, hoping for the best.

You could go with the conception date... gives you a little more flexibility.

I have saved all the dates that everyone is looking for in my blackberry. If I see a bottle with these dates I will grab it for sure.
If you all could please add 10/8/09 to your lists. It is my sons B-day. I found a 10/7/09 but so far no luck on the exact date.

I did get a WTKS for my son's exact B-day (02/22/01) from a kind SB member... I am still looking for 12/10/1994 and 02/20/03 for my two daughters....

Chris, I wil lkeep an eye out for the 12/23/06 date, but that is a hard one near christmas... but there was a 12/22 and 12/27 back in 2000 for WTKS
