Folks,
Not really a question here, I just loved Shotglass' Kentucky Belle jug and when he said
In reply to:

sometimes what can be imagined about an item is worth more than the monetary value

Bear with me please, I just want to whine for a minute:
My family is in the process of cleaning out property that will soon be sold. There are boxes of stuff that has been stored forever. Because I collect Derby Glasses, I got my Grandmother's collection. In the fifties, my Grandfather leased one of his big tractors to Churchill to pull the starting gate. Because of this, the family had a Derby box every year until my Grandmother's death a few years ago. There are many older glasses in the box. Two of these were damaged beyond repair... http://www.straightbourbon.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/frown.gif One was a 1953, damaged to the point a photo was sadly funny. The other is the 1964 in the photo.
I apologize for straying so far from the StraightBourbon theme here but, my heart is broken, and I knew ya'll would understand.
And, they are used every year to make those nasty mint juleps... http://www.straightbourbon.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/smirk.gif
Sniff,
Beej
