Agreed, I'm interested to see if the "hint" of absinthe really makes the drink or is just a novelty. (Bulleit Rye has been out for what seems like a month and it's already a staple in this drink?)

I am confident that the absinthe rinse contributes significantly to the overall taste of the drink. Absinthe rinse is an important step in the manufacture of the Sazerac Cocktail which is quite good and clearly shows the absinthe flavor.

It really is a good magazine. I steal a copy every time I get a haircut. :grin: Custom shotguns, bird dogs, fish fries, bourbon, Kentucky longrifles, oyster bakes, blues music, deer hunting - it pretty much fires on all cylinders.
