Just want to know your favorites, in order, #1 being your favorite, from this specific list:

Elijah Craig 12
Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage 2001
Old Forester Signature 100 Proof
Sazerac Rye
Corner Creek
Bernheim Original Small Batch
Bulleit
Wild Turkey Rare Breed
Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel
Jefferson's
1792 Ridgemont Reserve
Knob Creek
Buffalo Trace
Russel's Reserve Small Batch 10 Year
Four Roses Small Batch
Four Roses Bourbon
Old Weller Antique
Fighting Cock 6 Year
Maker's 46

There is no rhyme or reason to this list. Just a random mix. Rank your favorites, unless you don't want to, in that case, just ignore this.

Thanks.

Edit: These would all be recent purchases, by the way.

Old Forester Signature 100 Proof
Knob Creek
Maker's 46
Old Weller Antique
Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel
Fighting Cock 6 Year
Four Roses Small Batch
Bulleit

I guess I've had some decent EC12, but the last bottle I drank from was sort of gross.

It's impossible for me to put them in order, but:

Four Roses (anything) is a particular favorite that I always have a bottle of in one form or another. EC12 is another favorite. KC, both the standard and SB Reserve are favorites. ER is another, as is ETL.

5. Russel's Reserve Small Batch 10 Year

The rest of the bottles are things I wouldn't normally buy or haven't tried lately.

Appreciate the input, fellas.

Cracked open a bottle of Maker's 46. Last time I tried Maker's Mark, I remember it being rather lackluster.

This 46 is delicious. Still has that same smoothness, but with more flavor. Maybe even smoother?

This stuff is great, but this is what regular Maker's Mark should taste like.

I hope to try all those on your list one day. Of the ones I've tried:

1. Wild Turkey Rare Breed
2. Four Roses Bourbon
3. Buffalo Trace
4. Elijah Craig 12

5. Bulleit and Knob Creek (the only ones I don't care for. I'm not sophisticated enough to understand why. Too much spice, not enough sugar?)

Based solely on the ones I have tried, my list would look like this:

#1: Elijah Craig 12
#2: Old Weller Antique
#3: Knob Creek
#4: Buffalo Trace
#5: Sazerac Rye

Haven't gotten a chance to try the others yet, but it sounds as though a few guys like the Elmer T. Lee, so maybe I'll keep an eye out for that.

Just realized Bernheim isn't bourbon.

Does anyone know how long it is aged?

This stuff is delicious, quite a bit different than anything else I have. It's a super wheat explosion in your mouth.

It's so smooth and soft, not very complex, but the wheat profile is so unique that the lack of complexity doesn't bother me.

This could definitely be one of my new summer-time drinks.

Is this still the only "Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey"? Are there any other wheat whiskeys*?

*not wheat bourbons, I'm familiar with most of those

Dry Fly makes a wheat whiskey. Lots of folks here in WA like it, but I've never tried it.
