Just wondering...has anyone ever put together a list of Bourbons that are only sold through duty free stores? If so, I'd love to see it...thanks.

Make sure you include Jack silver select. From what I hear it's the best thing to come out of Tennessee.

That would be anything from Dickel and not Jack...

Yep, the Silver Select is spectacular. And, this is not coming from a regular Jack fan. IMOH, this is by far, the best whiskey coming out of Tennessee.

UK Duty Free has Jim Beam Signature 6 grain.... it's a limited release, so I don't know how long it will last.

Hong Kong Duty Free has Blantons Silver Label and Blantons Gold Label.

Australian Duty Free has significant savings (compared to Australian Retail Prices, not US prices) on Jim Beam White, Jim Beam Black, Makers Mark, Wild Turkey and Jack Daniels. They also cary Jim Beam Bottled in Bond Gold Label.

They didn't have any in heathrow (UK's largest airport) last week when my friend took a flight to egypt.

The JDSS is pretty good. Probably the smokiest American whiskey I've had.

I might have had a brain-freeze there.... I think it was Europe Duty Free

The Jim Beam Signature 6 grain is duty free in Germany and Belgium, it can now be purchased from the Whiskey Exchange.
I handed some to Fred Noe while he was in Australia, and he said it was the first time he ahd held a bottle. He tried it in the R&D lab but he said they never gave him a bottle. I opened one and we had some with him, will post some pics of that day later...

Here are the ones that I have from duty free, I should have noted the airports for all of them...ahh well.

Sydney/Wellington - Jim Beam small batch w/ Port (WT-8 too?)
UK - WT 8 / WT 12
Asia - Blantons Silver, Blantons Gold, I. W. Harper in the fancy bottle :) (WT - 12?)

These are not exclusive to duty free (i.e. most are sold in the countries), but are available in duty free and not available here. I started compling a list a while back of items available elsewhere (on the local economy and/or duty free) with pictures for my frequently traveling wife, I'll have to dig it up :).

I also haven't seen the Beam six grain in any of the duty frees.
