Blanton's in a green box. It's only a 375 ml but its 40 bucks (I could probably argue him down to 35). It says it was dumped in 1996.
The problem is that there seems to be a little evaporation- the top 15-30 percent of the top dimple is where the line is.
What do you think?
Even if you talk him down you're paying $70 for a bottle of Blanton's...I would let that one continue to sit...:rolleyes:

What we need is an app for this sort of advice.
I need to hear these "noooooo"s when I'm about to do something stupid.
The retail store shelf dusties that are the men among boys, are from the glut period. This gives them extra age in addition to the lower entry proof, more malt-less enzyme, better corn or other debated factors that create their taste. Chuck's most recent "Bourbon Country Reader" has a great write up on that period too.

I'm a Blanton's drinker this is a bad deal like Chuck said walk away from this one.
