Hunting Forum?

Was wondering if the idea has come up of having some sort of "on the hunt" forum (blocked to non-members) where people could post specific items they are looking for. If someone nearby knows where it can be found they could help point them in the right direction.

When The Boss laid out the rules for that thread, his point of moving it was to prevent it from being indexed by search engines, not that it was members only.

Grab a random string of text from any post in that thread and drop it into Google. Do the same to the first post in this thread or any other in the general discussion.

As an aside...it's frightening how quickly Google indexes this place.

Perhaps there is some scripting that would just automatically delete those? Or like the "for sale" forums in some places that require 50-100 posts before you can use them.
