It's official.

The barrels for the new Stagg have been selected. It'll be 15 yrs old, just like the original. No word on proof or production numbers, but it'll be available sometime this fall. We'll get an update at the festival.

Great news! Will there be any way to distinguish the new Stagg from the old other than the bottling date and possibly proof?

Hopefully, each year's bottling will be distinctive in some respect (other than, and in addition to, the label) from its prececessors! Hint, BT: make it so!

Yes, we'll taste Blanton's in the making. Maybe two barrels, so we can compare maturity levels.
