I just wanted to say hey to everyone after having 2 chat sessions on the board the past 2 days. All of the members have been enjoyable to talk too and I look forward to posting here.

Long story short, I just got into bourbon around 5 or 6 weeks ago and have really been enjoying it. I have about 9 different types and so far have settled on KCSB being my favorite for the time being. There are some suggestions from the chat and from reading the forum that I plan to pick up as well.

I also hear there is a good amount of Houston members on here, so I hope to meet up with several of you at some point.

Thanks everyone. I enjoyed the chat as well.

Looks like the wife and I may hit up Spec's downtown next Tuesday for the Balcones tasting. Maybe some other Houstonians will make it.

I believe Wade will be at the "Go Texas" tasting event at Specs tomorrow. Winston, the Balcones rep and StraightBourbon member will be there too. I may show up.

We usually get together every couple of months somewhere to have a few pours. Often times it's at Poison Girl. Keep an eye on the Bourbon Social section for notices.
