Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum, but not new to bourbon.
I'm 57 years old and live in O'Fallon, Missouri, about 6 miles west of the 40/64 bridge and Chesterfield Valley.

I've been fortunate enough to try all the BTAC whiskies and all the Pappy's too, and REALLY liked the Saz 18
and the Pappy 20. I seem to like just about everything from Heaven Hill, especially the Old Style Bourbon and
the Ezra B 1B for the money.

Four Roses is another favorite distillery, especially their barrel strength special releases at the visitor center,
and the 1B. Their high rye offerings are my favorites.

I pretty much like all kinds of brown spirits, including single malts, anejo tequila and cognac/armagnac, and
just counted 28 bottles here at the house, all-together. Just glancing through the boards leads me to believe
there are a number of folks from the St. Louis area on here, so maybe we could form a little whiskey club,
meet once a month and take turns hosting. Might be fun.

Well, thanks for having me, and let me hear from you locals!

Welcome to SB. A local tasting club sounds fun.

Keep me posted on the progress of rounding STL folks up.

You may want to check out the Bourbon & Banter blog.

Good information and sounds like they may already have a club in St. Louis.

Welcome, I was near you last summer while driving through to Colorado. Stopped at a neat Brew-Pub, Trailhead, in St. Charles.

That is a fine place for a great burger and good beer.

+1. I grew up in St. Charles 6-7 minutes away from that place and can't wait to move back to my hometown this summer/fall.

And welcome. At the risk of a little competition from a young bourbon drinker with no disposable income, what liquor stores do you go to in St. Charles or otherwise west of the city?

CoMo, I usually go to The Wine Market in Chesterfield Valley. They have a great selection of spirits as well as wine.
