I have a bottle in the form of the horse Citation, bottled in
bardstown, ny in 1948. Am looking for a valuation of said unbroken seal
container. It also has a mounted jockey, representing eddy arcarco on its
back. Would apreciate any help! Thank you.

You're asking the wrong people. This forum is for people who care about what is inside the bottle. We consider an unbroken seal an opportunity, not an asset. I'm not sure where you should go to reach decanter collectors, but that is where you need to go.

Having shoved a few thousand decanters out the back door at the Old Commonwealth Distillery(Old Rip Van Winkle) a few years ago, I remember an "Old Bardstown" decanter that the Willett family produced. In 1979, they produced a "Citation" decanter like you described-valued at $250.00 now. If your bottle is full, empty it(drink it). These decanters are worth just as much empty as full. Anybody that sells a decanter sells it empty since it's illegal to sell the liquor.
Hope this helps.
