James E. Pepper coin

I would like some info on a coin that says James E. Pepper across the top, then says, the choice of
generation after generation, est 1780, the other side says the name again, then has two drummers and a
horn blower marching, then says born with the republic, est 1780.
I know who made it, but why? And is it worth anything?

Sorry I don't know the value, but I have seen them for auction on eBay. You might scan their site ocassionally to see if one pops up. Of course, that still won't tell you the true "value", but it will giive you an idea of what the market might bare.
