Grommes & Ullrich 1936

Hello, my mother in law has a sealed bottle, in a gift box, of Grommes &
Ullrich Black Label, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, "Pre War", 1936.
Label says it was bottled in Chicago.

I am trying to find out something about it and have had no luck. Can anyone
help me out?

Who made it? How much might it be worth? Is it any good?!

I have been trying to find out about this for years. i had some in 1966 and it was the best i've had until Jacobs Well came out. If you ever find any history of this wonderfull bourbon please let me know.
