Once again trolling liquor stores in So. Cal. this time, I ran across these two decanters shown along with a previous find. The decanters are 750ml with no-numbered red tax stamps, age stated at 7yo 90 proof and the taller bottle is a 12yo 101 proof (I think this one was to be for the Japan market, I recently saw this bottle on a Japanese website)
The label states "since 1783" I'm curious to know if they were bottled in 1983. If you know more about these bottles, please post.(Date bottled, tasting notes and anything else would be of help) Thanks ahead of time for your input. dp
