I just mad my first online purchase of bourbon from Hi Time Wine Cellers. I was happy with the purchase but I was wondering if anyone new of any sites that were cheaper? I'm concerned about the shipping charges...I live in NY. Thanks in advance...

I've ordered from Hi Times and thought they did a great job with packing and reasonable shipping cost. Two other places worth checking out are:

Both of these are located in Chicago.

I know Binny's does, but the more you order, up to a case, the less it is. I try to order a case at a time, and the shipping is about $2 per bottle. I can certainly live with that!!!

Actually, paying the 7% California sales tax WOULD BE kinda nice -- it ranges (by locality) here between 9.25% and 9.75%! http://www.straightbourbon.com/forums/images/graemlins/smiley_acbt.gif

wow, TN state rate is 7% so that means that your county/city is adding on 2.25% - 2.75%. did I say wow? WOW.

Ca base rate is 6%.
