On business in Austin and Dallas this week. A few comments:

1. There is still a ton of Louisville-bottled Old Charter and WL Weller (latter only the BHC 7yr/107 liters, former you can get 8yr, 10yr, and OCPR) in the Austin area.

2. There is still the odd Lawrenceburg ORVW 15/107 and 10/90 in Austin, as well as late-ish Lawrenceburg Lot B bottlings (still labeled Lawrenceburg, but they have the website on the label).

3. Fans of the above, and WT decanters, check out Oak Hill Liquors on TX-71 just southwest of downtown. Plenty of good stuff there.

4. There were 5 (now 4) bottles of, drum roll, WT12, 1997 bottling, in the Buckhorn liquor store on Inwood just north of I-635. $52.99 for the privilege. Also there are New Orleans bottlings of ER10/101, a couple of Louisville OCPRs, the older label Bakers B-85-001 discussed earlier on this board, and a bottle of Sazerac from last year.

5. The main Goody Goody store on Henry Hines has a bottle of the heralded EWSB 1993 and a "barreled in 1984" bottling of Mckenna 10yr BIB with the felt label.

Happy hunting!

As soon as Hurricane Rita blows over, I have a feeling that a cooperstill FX 45 will be making a trip from Houston to Austin....

Val's headquarters are in Lewisville....so I may have her go by and pick up a WT12yo. We still see Lawrenceburg Van Winkles here in Houston and those Louisville Weller 7yo's in Liters are in lots of stores.
