Hi All...
I am brand new to this site, and have a question on (what I assume to be) a collectible item. I have a Hiram Walker Imperial Whiskey "Throne", for lack of a better word. It is made of ceramic with a matte gold finish, and the actual seat is a shade of red. Unfortunately, my daughter broke off one of the back legs, but it still stands upright on a flat surface. The etched inscription on the bottom says "Blended Whiskey - 86 Proof, 10% Grain Neutral Spirits, Hiram Walker & Sons, Inc., Peoria, ILL. (yes, with 2 "L's"). Etched on the left side of the bottom it says "Central States Specialties, Inc., and on 3 of the sides of the seat it says "Imperial Whiskey by Hiram Walker". It stands about 1 foot (give or take) and is maybe 5-6 inches across. It's by no means beautiful, but definitely unique, and appears that all the inscriptions were hand done individually. Does anyone know anything about this; age, worth if any, where it may have come from...anything? I can't find any refernece to this anywhere! Thanks to anyone who can help! (p.s. - I will try to post a picture, but I can't figure out how to upload with my sons' camera, and mine is on loan to a friend!)
