If I lived in Kentucky, I would not miss it.

I do, and I will, but only because my shift on Monday runs into it by a few hours.

I missed the last one after a last minute SNAFU resulted in corporate big wigs being in town.
I ended up in Louisville on Shelbyville Road and had to nail one foot to the floor to resist coming down with the flu and heading to the Bourbon Bistro.
At that time, my need to stay employed overrode my bourbon urge.
I will try again

Hope there will be some advent in September to when I will visit Kentucky. As I will live part of the time in Louisville Bourbon Bistro is 1 of the bars I have planed to attend in that city.

I did a small tasting there in Feb. Just me and a local friend of mine; we had, IIRC, the WLW unfiltered, Old Forester Birthday 2004, Hancock, and Weller Centennial. There was a lot to choose from, and I regret not having the Stagg or the Elmer T. Lee as I can't get either in NC. It was a fine night; the bartender Kerry was very knowledgable and friendly, and dinner was very good.

Definitely worth a trip if in Louisville.
