Evan Williams Millenium Globe Decanter

I'm sure while flicking through the forum last week I saw something about someone having some EW Millenium decanters bunkered....and I can't get it to show up in a search. Does anyone have a number of these.....I would love one, and if anyone had one they were willing to sell, I would be extremely interested. I know most people trade things, but I'm not sure anyone would be interested in the lack of bottles I can get my hands on in Australia :grin: unless 74 proof Beam tickles someones fancy:lol:

Also did I maybe read somewhere that they sell them empty from the distillery store??

I think Dane is the one that made that earlier post. These globes are still readily available in Minnesota.....I saw a ton of them when I was there. They have a "Leakage" problem, so I don't know if shipping a full one is a good idea without ziplock precautions.

This was true when I lived in Missouri, alas, though I've seen none in Colorado. According to Bettye Jo, when they got all the ones that they recalled due to the leaky seal back, they broke them all to pieces so I doubt that they kept any for resale. They do have the "Evan Williams Master Distillers Select" there in the jugs though and you can have them personalized for a small fee.
