How to Date Dusty Corner Finds

I think that it would be very beneficial to the group if we could get a sticky about how to date old bourbons. Info on the tax stamps, when certain distilleries were opened (and closed). I just think that it would really nice to have somewhere to refence how old stuff is. I tried to search for this, and couldn't find what I was looking for.

i can appreciate what you are asking for, but...you are taking the human factor out. Communicating, learning by talking (listening). Plus people that were born with normal genes (not like us) can pop in, get info pop out and not really contribute anything. I've also noticed some spamming attempts lately here from sources I would have never suspected...If I disappear from the site in the next 30 seconds you'll know who I'm poking fun at:stickpoke:
