Has anyone been to Bourbons in Louisville for the tasting sessions with dinner? They have these once a month..I went in March when they had the Van WInkle line..They offered the 12-15-20-23yr old bourbons and I will tell you, they are really good..It was the first time I had the 15,20 and 23 yr old stuff..Wow....
Also let me hear some opinions on Jefferson Reserve..Is it worth the $50 per bottle..Thanks..

I did also the van Winkle dinner but in September. However the line-up didn’t include the 23-year. It was the 90 proof version of the 10-year instead. I thought the 15-year outshined the rest by a lot.
I have tried Jefferson reserve once at the saddle & sabre bar in Stockholm Sweden a couple of years ago. It was far to dry and woody for my personal taste.

I can't talk from personaly experience, as I haven't had the Jeffersons, although from all I have read on this forum, I would say to you Pappy 15 is cheaper, get that instead :)
