Newbie Intro

Just thought I better drop by here to introduce myself. I am Nigel, a baccy chewin', pipe smoking cowboy wannabee based in England:confused::( just getting into bourbon. Fortunately for me just 5 miles up the road I have an excellent whiskey specialist shop who stocks, or will stock if you ask, most bourbons that are out there. I'm off now to do a little reading and searching, ready to commence my journey.

I don't think of England as cowboy country, but it is beautiful. I had a lot of great walks through the countryside when I was there.

Cowboy country it ain't, I'd much rather be in MT or WY but family commitments mean I gotta live here:cry:. Still I get to practice my roping at work and wear my Stetsons and Resistols. I might look out of place here but I wear what I like.

I don't chew for one reason, because I like it.
A co-worker gave me some of his Redman chewing tobacco once, and after a while I was really getting into it.
Then I spit it out and washed my mouth out and my buddy started laughing at me saying I could not handle it.
On the contrary, I liked it to much and did not want to add another bad habit to some of the others I have.

But anyway,... welcome Nigel, scrape off your boots and come up on the porch. :grin:
