I've never found anything that can't be shipped to california. I'm pretty sure you can openly ship crack cocaine to this state :-)

I was going to order some bottles from IWS but 3 of the bottles I wanted they were sold out of. No big deal though, Only one of them was one I don't have and is by no means hard to get or in short supply. The others I would have just bunkered!

I don't know about the site you mention, but in general, I believe California does not allow retail shipping of spirits from out of state unless the vendor is licensed in California, which very few out of state vendors are. You may have to have them ship to a retail vendor in California.

As Oscar notes, Mission Liquors in Pasadena is a very good source for Bourbon in particular.

I have ordered bourbon from Binny's with no problem and have never had a problem shipping any kind of alcohol to California.
