14 bottles of GTS 2007 today at Sam's Highland Park. Sort of couldn't believe it. Maybe I'll check Binny's tomorrow, just for fun. Doesn't sound like short supply to me. Just wanted to let everyone know.

WOW. That's a bunch of bottles. I haven't seen any down here since I had my local shop bring 2 cases in. Both gone in a week (of course one of them was reserved for me).

The locations that I frequent all have numerous bottles of the '07 Stagg as well as ER 17 and some WLW. This is by far the best of the allocations I have seen since "joining the hunt" 3 years ago.

Not only are they here in good numbers, but where in the past only one or two locations had the product, it does seem to be more widespread.

A few weeks ago when I went in search of PVW20's the store I wound up at had 6 on the shelf. Considering the average store allotment and the size of the store I'd guess that this store hasn't sold a single bottle yet. Even back right after release this was relatively easy to find.

Anyone know of a place in Central Florida that I can find a bottle of the 07 GTS? Or maybe a site online???

Still 2 bottles on the shelf here (Athens, GA) at the bargain basement price of $199.99 each.

Not in central FL, but you're only a little over 2.5 hours from Tallahassee, where Market Square Liquors has had a good record of getting BTAC (at least until Dec 2006, which is when I left FL). The main branch (1415 Timberlane Road) is the one you want, but is handily the easiest off I-10.

Might be best to call first. 850-893-9636

I'm interested in the WLW.... can they be purchased online?

um.... what? Is Stagg really 200 bucks per bottle there? forgive my ignorance, but how is that so?

Kind of silly when we can just go to NH and spend $46.99 or Julio's in Westboro and pay $49.99.

A couple of years ago I asked the store owner if he could get Stagg. He said that he'd had numerous requests but was unable to get his hands on it - can't recall if it was due to availability (lack thereof) or if the distributors couldn't get it. Apparently he found a couple of bottles and now expects people to walk in and bend over.

I bought 2 bottles in SC for $57.99 each. I still visit the store periodically in hopes of running into him again. He's pretty much lost my business but I'd still like to talk to him.

I thought the $300 price tag on the Pappy 23 was a little steep. Those bottles are still there also.

BT dumped quite a few more barrels for Stagg 2007 than they have in previous years, which explains why it didn't disappear from the shelves instantly, the way it has in most years. Still, anyone who wants it and can still find it shouldn't delay. It won't last much longer.

I just wish I could find it in Kansas, but this week Buffalo Trace product has appeared on shelves my local stores! And I was told by one owner that he should have a line on some BTAC when its released next. Hopefully that will come to pass.

I think, more importantly, you have to be in the right State.

It's also been showing up here in the DC area along with other BTAC bottlings, most notably Thomas H. Handy and 18 yr. old Sazerac Ryes. I guess they must've held back and not shipped it all in October like they used to do.

I'm in hog heaven seeing my beloved BTAC Sazerac back on the shelf.

There were 3 bottles on the shelf. When the proprietor told me that he had more in the back, I had to wipe away tears of joy.

Go ahead. Twist the knife.

I've been told that unless sales of basic BT reach some minimum threshold level here in Oregon, we will get no 2008 BTAC.

Maybe I can convince WineGuy to move here.

I'll gladly sell my two $60 bottles for $300 - or even $200. Stagg is mighty tasty but I couldn't turn down that kind of return on investment. Would likely bring a tear to Warren Buffet's eye.
