In my research I have seen that there were a few releases of the BT Experimental an I was wondering if any is still out there to be had?

It's not impossible, but it is highly unlikely. These were all single barrel releases, and not just Single Barrel like we normally think about it, but as in "there was only one barrel" Even though they were sold in 375 ml bottles instead of 750ml, that would mean there were probably only 500 or so of each bottling. I think now there have been something like 9 different bottlings over the last couple of years, meaning there were never more than 4500 or so total. Thats not a lot to go around, especially when they have been released in pairs (or trios like the first release) and people have bought the set and not just one.

There may be some available but as time passes it will become more unlikely.

The last release, I found by accident in a store in Jackson, TN just a couple of months ago. Have not seen anymore since and have looked.

I did see an auction for all 9 itterations that went for over a grand. I stopped bidding at around $600 and was high bidder for all of 4 minutes.

Good luck

Sorry...

I'm not an eBay fan, so I've never bothered to look up bourbon on the site. I think that the disclaimer regarding "you're just buying the bottle, not the contents" to me comical.

I know it is all Semantics but I think the disclaimer is for what the seller is selling. Not what I am buying. I collect labels.

I know of a local store that has 2 on the shelf. I just noticed they were there, didn't look at price nor finish. Way out of my price range though.
