Though the focus is on Scotch Malt Whisky...the principles are presented very well...a nice resource to have for those of us who do not live and breath the production aspect.

Actually the site is very informative....look around if single malt Scotch is of interest.

Definitely informative, though I couldn't help but find a little bit of malt aficionado snobbery when he described grain whisky. For that matter, I don't believe all grain whiskies are distilled in a column still-- if I remember correctly, some of the grain whisky distilleries actually pre-date the invention of the patent still...
