They don't sell any varieties of Weller there?

Makers Mark - good but a little bland.

Old Fitzgerald - decent, the "1849" is probably the best buy, the 12yo is too pricey unless you find it for under $25

Rebel Yell - a bit rough, but better than it used to be

I think Weller Antique is a wheater.

Anything marked Old Fitz, Weller, Van Winkle or Maker's Mark is a wheater.

Weller Antique is avalable in PA and it is on sale through Sunday (http://www.lcb.state.pa.us/webapp/Product_Management/Monthly_Sales.asp?dsply_cde_in=100&submit1=Go)

You can search the PA inventory at this site (http://www.lcb.state.pa.us/webapp/Product_Management/psi_ProductDefault_inter.asp?plcbNav=|32369|)

Happy hunting!

Knob Creek is NOT a wheater, but Rebel Yell is (made by HH using today's Old Fitz mashbill), sold by Luxco (erstwhile David Sherman Corp.).

In my opinion, Weller Antique is an excellent option. It is both stronger and smoother than Maker's and usually a good bit cheaper to boot.

I'll 2nd that call. I got a bottle of Old Fitz 1849 when I was in New Zealand a couple of years ago. I'm nearly done with the bottle unfortunately, but it's definately one of my prefered regulars (along with Makers Mark)
