Yesterday I met with 3 of the SB Guys Phils fan,Fricky and Bourbon Joe. I then took them for a trip through Kinsey here are some of my Pictures from Yesterday. I will be posting the rest later today on the My Memories Thread but wanted to get a couple on early this morning. We had a great time Bourbon Joe bought us dinner at Fridays and we went to Frickys (Doug) after wards where I was given a bottle of Very Old Barton by Phils Fan ( Joe ) Many many thanks to him for that and Many Many thanks to Bourbon Joe who Gave me something I never thought I would ever Have as a surprise an Original Old Hickory Bourbon Clock which I will post a picture of later today with the rest of my Pictures on My memories, These Guys are Just Plain Awesome we went to Frickys after eating and siped Great Bourbon all afternoon!

Although the it was an overcast and rainy day, I enjoyed the tour of the old Kinsey facility. I appreciate Dave taking a day off from his current job to show us around. I have attached a few photographs. Some views have been posted previously.

I was impressed by the size of the campus and the size and number of bonded warehouses. The warehouses were brick and unlike those in Kentucky were close together with little ventilation. Apparently, vandals had started a fire on the upper level of one of the deserted warehouses. Firefighters knocked a hole in the wall. I took a photograph of the hole which shows details concerning the wall construction.

I wonder if anyone in the movie industry has considered using the site for shooting industrial or other scenes there....it has a haunted quality...in some shots...medieval looking..in others...war torn.

Jono it does have a sort of Movie style to it and it is a big place ask the guys they could not believe how many bonded Warehouses were there and how strongly they were made and all the acre's of land 200. It was an amazing operation when I worked there. We had 600 people there then and the lawns were as beautiful as any Mansion would have been. Mr Neuman Expected that! he loved the place and would come up once a month in his Bently to look it over! He would some times stop at the Mantaince shop in the Bottle house and walk in from the dock and say Hi!

I'm just now getting back on the website after vacation, so I'm just seeing the pictures for the first time, but you're right...the place does have a movie quality to it... and the pictures, as good as they are, can't give you a true idea of the scope of the place. Jono, if you ever get to Limerick, PA, you've got to have Dave take you on the tour!
