Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur
I had never heard of this product before..."a cult favorite of USAF pilots" ...it claims to be bourbon based....a search on SB found some references....more like a Southern Comfort....but it "may" actually use bourbon instead of grain neutral....see:

100 proof bourbon liqueur "brewed" in Kentucky......
I assume it must contain bourbon...at least some %.

Re: Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur
It's a Southern Comfort knock-off, although I think you can tell from the name and label when it was created and who it was directed at. What's the Canadian one? I can't remember.
Southern Comfort for many years contained no bourbon, just GNS, but now it too contains a little whiskey.

I've seen something called Southern Host............
Re: Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur
I am not sure where the USAF pilot connection come is....is it stocked at officers clubs? A blogger writes:
"Most of you probably have never heard of the stuff, but Jeremiah Weed is a bourbon manufactured in Connecticut and which has a special place in Air Force history. It's hard to find, being that it's only made in limited quantities and sold only at or around Air Force installations; "
Only sold around Air Force installations? Strange.
Re: Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur
This brand is available in various areas of the country, Ohio and New Jersey come to mind. The Canadian whiskey liquer Chuck C. is thinking of is either Tiddy's or Yukon Jack!

Re: Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur
Yeah, we got Jeremiah Weed here in NJ. My friends, who don't like whiskey, say it's great. It's on the list of things to try but I'm in no rush.
Re: Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur
I've seen Jeremiah Weed here in Houston many times, just saw some yesterday.
Re: Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur
It's stocked by the PLCB so it can't be that unusual.
More of the "true" story here

Yukon Jack is the one I was trying to remember. Same deal, Southern Comfort knock-off. Southern Host was another one. Believe it or not, there were once dozens of them.
Re: Jeremiah Weed Bourbon Liqueur
I've never tasted Yukon Jack. I had always assumed it was more a knock off of WT honey liqueur. Why I had that impression, I don't know.
