hello im new to the site wanted to say hello to you all! I have been reading alot. this place is awesome'' im sorry if i was not supposed to make a thread for this' delete if necessary':cool:
i have ben a bourbon lover since i got a hold of my
grandperents Evan Williams.
In high school' ,,and all threw". Now im 24, and still love bourbon but have moved on to Weller SR, 7 year':grin:
I just cant bring my self to try any others.

No this is exactly where you were supposed to post. EW and Weller's SR is all you have tried? Well set back because the people here are going to open your pallet up to a whole new world. We're going to introduce you to bourbons you never heard of and your going to fall in love with them. You've taken your first baby step on a fantastic journey into the world of bourbon set back and enjoy the ride. Your going to have fun, your going to make friends, your going to ask questions and get answers to those questions. But above all your going to find out more about bourbon than you ever thought you would ever know. Chat is Thursday and Sunday nights but is open all the time a great way to meet your fellow members. Don't be afraid to post, post as often as you want.

Welcome to SB glad you found us. Like p_elliot saif there are is a whole world of bourbon out there to try. Its like asking someone what fruit they like and they say just apples haven't tried any others. Every bourbon is different. Hope to see you in the chat tonight.

Back when i was working on a farm some old timers told me
i could get a clear glass bottle. Push a cork down its neck and berry it in the
Grain pile in the hot cali sun over the summer...
They said it would sweat into the bottle
threw the cork which was a filter "
giving you 100 proof or better in the fall??
So is this just a old timer tale or a fact'?

Welcome and where in Texas do you reside? I'm about an hour SE of Dallas. The Weller 12 is a great bourbon. If you can find the old labels, which I know for a fact are aplenty in Texas, grab'em.
