On this, the longest night of the year, I offer once again the theme of this long running thread. It's hard to finish off that last drink, especially if it's a special bottle. We've all been there, we feel your pain, and we're here to help.
Emptied an Old Forester and a Weller 12, but only to fill flasks. Those will be dry soon enough.
Matt and I killed off the last bit of an 09 GTS last night
Sure did. It's laying in the basement still, and I'm trying to work up the nerve to trash it.
A WTRB bit the dust last night. I figured I had to make my last Bourbon drinking night before visiting the in-laws a good one, and it was.
Last night I took that last of a WLW 2008 over cracked ice, tonight I took the last from a 2005 WLW also over cracked ice. Tomorrow I might go for a trifecta, and have a 2006 WLW hit the dust.
I killed a Binny's Weller 12 last night. I would be deeply saddened if not for the fact that I have back up.
To end a good day yesterday, I had the last pour from a bottle of ER 101. :frown: Farewell to a good friend. Joe
Finished the WR that really got me started on tasting bourbon, rather than just drinking it. Currently the bottle is a flower vase, and its place in the cabinet has been replaced by a much larger collection.
Good thing...that well is running dry quickly...only 4 bottles left on the shelf as of yesterday! :(Quote:
