So, for $350+ MSRP, did anyone take the plunge and buy the set Julian bottled?

If so, did you think it was worth the high price? Why/Why not? How different is it than the usual PVW 23?

I've got a few on the way.
Simple answer...yes. Many people have bought it. Reviews have been good so far. I haven't heard any bad ones to date...reviews that is. Also, I can say the packaging is pretty incredible ,IMO. The price is on the high side, but compared to scotch it's pretty cheap. BTW, Preston VW commented on the selection right here at SB.com in the other OR 23 thread. For what it is, the price seems reasonable to me. Not that I can afford it, but it doesn't feel like a gouge.
I have an open bottle and it is well worth the price tag. I did not want to miss the opportunity to sample a unique piece of history hand selected by Jullian and Preston with a beautiful decanter to remember the expirence. The Van Winkles hade never disappointed my taste buds and I appreciate their standards. I would get another if able. tim
Perhaps, you Emperor's should look in the mirror!
Anybody know where any of this stuff is (who hopefully ships to PA).

$330. cellar.com ships to most states.
$370. beltramos check for state
I passed... both because of the price and on principle.
But then again, since I'm a bourbon whore, I may change my mind.
One of the things that got me interested in switching from tequila to bourbon was the price difference. The taste experience sealed the deal.
I won't be buying one of these, but I do admire anyone who can afford to spend this much for one bottle.
