I've got a few on the way.
Simple answer...yes. Many people have bought it. Reviews have been good so far. I haven't heard any bad ones to date...reviews that is. Also, I can say the packaging is pretty incredible ,IMO. The price is on the high side, but compared to scotch it's pretty cheap. BTW, Preston VW commented on the selection right here at SB.com in the other OR 23 thread. For what it is, the price seems reasonable to me. Not that I can afford it, but it doesn't feel like a gouge.
I have an open bottle and it is well worth the price tag. I did not want to miss the opportunity to sample a unique piece of history hand selected by Jullian and Preston with a beautiful decanter to remember the expirence. The Van Winkles hade never disappointed my taste buds and I appreciate their standards. I would get another if able. tim

Anybody know where any of this stuff is (who hopefully ships to PA).

Those look like Pappy 23, not Old Rip, though neither have pictures, one is described as Pappy and the other as Van Winkle Family Reserve.Quote:
