ETL got sacked in first quarter of the Broncos-Steelers playoff game. Fortunately, there was a nearly-full bottle of WT 101 rye to come off the bench.
Time for a 2012 thread? I recently emptied a handle of Old Charter 10, but I'm not really looking for any "support". :grin:
Just polished off a 2008 GTS. My first post on this forum was the day I bought this bottle and I've had it open way too long. I didn't truly appreciate this whiskey until I got over my obsession with drinking everything neat and cut it with a bit of water. I can actually taste the bourbon and not just the alcohol. I need to grab the 2008 I saw for $60 a few months back.
I would hunt for a 2009 or above GTS. Those whiskeys are a lot better than the 2008 bottling, in my opinion. That said, $60 bucks is a bargain!Quote:
