I'm kind of bored and I know this is kind of productive but I figured it would be entertaining nonetheless. I never drink blends unless I'm in a bar and it's the only thing they have to mix with that's not 12$.
What is the worst blend you've ever tried- American or Canadian?
Ill go first- top 3 are:
1. Canadian LTD
2. Philadelphia
3. Barton
I can't recall. They were all so forgettable.

Well put, but the blends i mentioned were far from forgettable (actually they were downright horrendous- i try to forget them). I'm sure I'm one of the only guys on here who tries blends on any sort of basis (probably 2 or 3 times a year- when the cheapest thing other than a blend is over 10$)Quote:

All of their good stuff was being sent overseas. Why they decided to sell Americans that blended swill....I have no idea. I'm just glad that they have corrected that problem.:grin:Quote:

Can't say I've ever tried a blended American whiskey. Doesn't sound like I should start.
ten high blended. Terrible ain't the word. I tried it on accident because ten high was my everyday bourbon and the switched it to a blend in New York but if you do not look close you will not know. I knew upon first taste something was wrong. Tastes like cardboard. There was a blened ezra brooks in the mid 90's that was actually pretty good.
I have a bottle of Barton QT Premium. Can't imagine what the "Premium" refers to. It will never be used past the one drink that has come out of it.
I thought barton qt was a light whiskey. Is it now a blend?
