Re: Van winkle 10 year 107 vs lot b
I like Lot B. I also like PVW 15.
I opened a bottle of each Labor Day weekend at the start of the football season. I've done this for several years now. The Lot B bottle is half full while the PVW 15 bottle is two-thirds full.
I recognize that PVW 15 may be a better value $/proof alcohol but I don't care. I like the taste of Lot B better.
Re: Van winkle 10 year 107 vs lot b
All that's available here is 10yo 90proof for $60. And lot b 12yo for $72. The latter is definately worth the extra $12. I'm jealous more vw isn't available here.

In Southern California, I was lucky enough to have my name on a list for the Pappy 15 and 20; they never made it to the shelves. The ORVW 10/107, Rye and Lot B were just on the shelves, with no purchase limits listed. Stayed in stock for a few weeks....Lot B was still in stock as of last week.

Ditto. Also prefer Weller 12 which I can get via several "mules" .
