Said goodbye to a lovely bottle of Owensboro Ezra Brooks 90. It's like sucking on a butterscotch candy. I'd really like to know why I don't pick up on that great butterscotch flavor in any contemporary bourbons.

Irish bottles hitting the bin: Jameson, Jameson 12, Powers Gold and Tullamore Dew. Won't be long before the Paddy's follows suit.
I put a cap in the ass of a Pappy 15 the other night. It was a bottle from Spring '12 allocation. Through and through, good stuff. I believe this was $59 at the time, which is a fair price for an aged wheater. If the price raises much, however, I will likely lose interest in it.
First Lot B from Spring 12. Got a few more random bottles with less than 1/4 left in each. Time to buckle down and fill the bin.
Laid a bottle of Willet Kentucky Rye 25yo 94 proof Barrel 1372 to rest last night. It was a purchase from Limburg where I bought what they had = a third filled bottle

Finished off a Pappy 20yr from 08 and a High West American Prairie today.
Threw the kill switch to a bottle of V17 with a little help this afternoon.

A VSOF BHC edition hit the bin. Not really enjoyable like I thought it would be. It's been open for about a year now, and just never got better. Some days it was decent, enjoyable, but mostly just not my flavor profile I guess.
Now to figure out what to do with the others I have.
emptied a bottle of high west double rye last night. sad to see it go but happy to pop open a bottle of rittenhouse.
