I was browsing COLA tonight and this caught my eye:

It appears it was approved a week ago, but I haven't seen any other mention at SB.
I don't how I feel about this and what (if anything it means for the current RR). No age statement (surprise, surprise), but 110 proof and non-chill filtered.
It's interesting that the label says "Small Batch Single Barrel"
Hasnt WT for the most part dropped age statements?
Although, I imagine that this product would be a significant improvement over the current RR since the proof is increasing. I hear nothing but good things about the defunct RR101.
I'll be on the lookout, but if this follows the release of everything else Dallas probably wont see it until months after its release in Kentucky.

I'll have to search for the post later, but I remember someone on here saying a few months ago that Jimmy (or was it Eddie?) mentioned that Rare Breed would soon be non-chill filtered. Could this be replacing Rare Breed? Actually, if this is single barrel and barrel proof(ish), I'd wager this would replace RB and KS.

They better hadn't discontinue the Rare Breed! First they water down my rye, now I hear rumors of no more RB???!!!! Makes me almost want to quit drinking all WT products if it comes true!
So, having read the previous thread, also knowing a potential new product will be replacing the current....do I bothering grabbing a bottle of RR (current?)
Down here in Dallas TX it will become impossible to get WT dusties becuase (as I was told) the rep will pay the retailer to completely re-stock with the newer label and take back all the old product. That happened with the recent label change to WT 101.
I love WT 101 standard. I just havent branched out to KS or RR yet. If they come out with an unfiltered line, I would definitely go for that!
This has the potential to be better than RB. The only downside is that it will likely cost more.
