I'm not sure if it's B/F or the TTB. There have been quite a few inconsistencies in the way products are coded (bourbon, straight bourbon, bourbon BIB, etc.) for the same products, as well as outright mistakes.

My favorite is this single barrel Willett rye that's listed as CT 132-- blended rye :lol:

I suspect that it is BF.

COLAs are submitted two ways. When a hard-copy form is completed and snail-mailed by the applicant, a signature appears on it. If e-filed, there is only the signature of the approving TTB officer. Because the latter applications do not appear to have been scanned, there must be some method of applying the signature digitally.

All the BF forms are e-filed. If the TTB is putting in the code, then either the person at BF who fills out the form (one Mary Dillard, who uses the E-Mail address denise_dillard@b-f.com) is forgetting to put it on the application, or the TTB is changing it.

I don't think either is very likely.
