Re: Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar
TPS hosts a cigar tasting every Tuesday and a friend and hit the OKBB afterwards. Bernie Lubers was there from Beam doing small batch tasting. They had the Knob Creek rye as one of the offerings and I have to say that I enjoyed it, but that is for another thread. I did like the bar quite a bit, small and quaint and Molly is always accessible to chat with. They had a really good selection, but I stuck with the OGD 114 and Mellow Corn. They do have two beers on tap, the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel ale and something else, I couldn't see from my spot on the bar. I would go back for sure, may be a spot that we can host a Cincy & NKY tasting.
Re: Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar
We did a tasting at OKBB and at Japps last week. OKBB was packed. I got to try a few products I haven't had in the past, including Maker's White (which as a distiller, I'm really interested in).
OKBB is a great place with a great selection. And Molly is a huge supporter of all things whiskey and is a big fan or ours. That always means a great deal to me. She, and Richie, make a KILLER Old Fashioned.

Always good to hear. While you showed some restraint, I didn't do so well after the tasting was over. We walked down the street and had dinner at Bouquet, and then got a DD back to our hotel. I really like that Mainstrasse (sp?) area.
Re: Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar
Thanks for the post, I'll have to check it out this summer.
