It would be a shame if they do as I really have enjoyed some of the most recent pours of this stuff. Aged wheaters are hard to come by these days. The V17 was perfect, decently priced and readily available. Has anyone else heard of this being discontinued?

IIRC, prior to last year, the Vintage 17 was a ryed bourbon, not an old wheater, so if this is the case, then it sounds like KBD is running out of anything that's old enough to be bottled as Vintage 17.
Yeah, the juice doesn't taste like BT and I'm sure BT isn't selling any wheaters as they are having a tough time keeping up with demand on their end.Quote:

The formerly current Vintage 17 was a Bernheim Wheater(Although it had been rye-recipe in the past).
"discontinued" is the wrong word, as their stocks have simply dried up.
Wasn't sure I needed a few in the bunker but when this happens, I'm glad they are in the bunker.
Just picked up 2 for the stash after getting the K&L email. K&L wants $80, local BevMo is $70.
