You're welcome! I am a big fan of Eagle Rare. I also enjoy the current iteration, and lately I find myself really warming up to ER17 from 06 & 07. That said... When I find a dusty bottle of ER101 on the shelf, a smile always creeps across my face. It is one of my favorite dusties to hunt, and one of my favorite bourbons in general. I have an open NOLA bottle in the cabinet. I had a pour from it the other night. When I get home later tonight I think I will have another pour.

I have sampled this a couple of times and enjoyed it quite a bit, though I don't have a bottle. I do, however, have a bottle of ERSB. It's the Harlen Wheatley signature bottle from the BT gift shop, so I don't know if it's significantly different from the standard issue. The stuff in this bottle is good but tastes like older BT. I like BT so having an older version is good but would prefer a profile more unique for ER. It's good, but nothing like 101.

I've never seen one in the wild, only in pictures and since in PA liquor is state-controlled, I think nearby areas have been hunted out.

I had the pleasure of helping with a bottle of the Lawrenceburg juice -- much better than the current version.
Granted, I like Old Prentice/Four Roses' rye bourbon than BT's...

This is one of my favorite dusties. I always have one open and several in the bunker from each site. I've tried all three but never side-by-side but can't say i can tell a great deal of difference in them but side-by-side I might be able to. I always buy them when I can find them. Not real crazy about the ERSB. It's not bad for the price but not something I keep around. It is a nice bottle to take to a party though.

It is my favorite pour. I have all three in stock and buy every one I find. I am down to my last three of the Lawrenceberg :(

One of my buddies went home to be with his grandfather for the holidays and was given a box/gift-set of Eagle Rare 101 (Lawrenceburg) with glasses. May post pics later if I get his permission.
