I only hope that our west coast can produce better Malt than our east coast (blech!).
Is that the place Ralfy visited? Used to be a winery?
Still Waters in Ontario is also making single malts. Theirs should be ready 2013+. They will make single barrel and cask strength I seen on their page.

"As these casks become mature, we will begin to release single cask offering, limited edition, numbered bottles." That's pretty brave.
It will be interesting to see how their whisky turns out. Their blended "1+11" is SUPER sweet, almost liqueur like in flavor, but with a fairly thin body. I see they are putting some rye down, but it's all in ex-bourbon casks. I wonder if they could be convinced to use some new oak for a barrel or two.
