Well, I have not had any standard WT101 in a while, but I quite enjoy the WT8year export that a friend got for me when he flew back from Africa. Hopefully, in a move that would work against all current trends, WT might actually add an age statement instead of eliminating one once they get things up to speed at their new distillery. I'm hoping so.

I also want to pat myself on the back. It was my friend who picked this up and I was over at his place. All I knew is that he came home with something new, I told him to serve it to me blind first. I pegged it as a high rye bourbon at 100 proof
Thank you, Compliance. Thank you for reminding me to revisit my bottle of RHF. It's just a regular bottling and not the K&L bottling, but my-oh-my, what a gorgeous whiskey. Cherries, chocolate, easy sipping, and great balance. It seems odd to say a $50 bourbon is "under-rated", but IMO, Rock Hill Farms is exactly that. So little talk about it here, on these boards. Beautiful presentation with it's packaging, that is actually surpassed by what is inside that bottle.

I wouldn't hold my breath according to our Australian friends they are now getting the WT 101 NAS instead of the WT 101 8 yr export now. Looking for new avatars every day :hot:

Pulled a TV outside, lit a fire, enjoying some 4R 2009 Mariage. Absolutely a beautiful night by the fire.

Since my Arizona Wildcats pulled off the upset against the Trojans, PVW20 tonight. You try to ration it (even though I've bunkered one) and you almost forget how good it is.
